Aptos entered their tilt with San Lorenzo Valley on Thursday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 6-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-2 victory back in April.

Mya Najera-White spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aptos saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalina Healy, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Aptos' record now sits at 21-4. As for San Lorenzo Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10-1.

Looking ahead, Aptos will take on Soquel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mariners 3.7, the Knights 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. San Lorenzo Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
