Fairview and Sycamore are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the War Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Fairview is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Creek Wood on Friday. The Yellowjackets and the Red Hawks finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Fairview's goal came courtesy of Noah Simmons, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Sycamore put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against Cheatham County Central as they made off with a 5-2 win. The result was nothing new for Sycamore, who have now won three games by three goals or more so far this season.

Sycamore's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. Fairview's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-1.

Fairview beat Sycamore by a goal in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-1. Do the Yellowjackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the War Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
