Lexie Landers put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off eight hits (she also only allowed one walk). Landers was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Landers wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emma Willers, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Megan Uhrik was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
