Softball Recap: Gramercy Christian Takes a Loss

Gramercy Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 17-4 to Ahoskie Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ahoskie Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 last Friday.

Gramercy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ahoskie Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Gramercy Christian will welcome Community Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cyclones have averaged an impressive 12.7 runs per game this season. As for Ahoskie Christian, they will head out to take on Pamlico Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
