Baseball Recap: Osage City Comes Up Short

Osage City lost against Baldwin on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 12-11. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Osage City got a massive performance out of Sevrin Rumold, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Danny Cain, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Osage City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Baldwin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osage City will square off against Wabaunsee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baldwin, they will challenge Ottawa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Cyclones have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
