Softball Recap: Northview Vikings vs. Covina Colts
After a string of four wins, Northview's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Covina Colts by a score of 6-5. Northview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Covina apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on March 9th.
Isabella Ochoa was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with a triple, a run, and an RBI. Another player making a difference was Destiny Gallardo, who went 1-for-2 with a home run.

San Dimas' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Northview's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Covina, they will head out on the road to face off against Charter Oak at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Charter Oak is coming into the matchup with five straight victories at home, so Covina will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
