Softball Recap: Morton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Morton's offense. They came up short against the Slaton Tigers on Thursday, falling 16-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morton's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Slaton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4-1.

Morton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 23-1 defeat against Denver City on the 28th. As for Slaton, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Petersburg on the 28th.
