Softball Recap: Ottawa's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Ottawa managed to slip by Fort Scott the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cyclones lost 10-2 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Cyclones' undefeated start to the season.

Ottawa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kathy Gillett, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Ottawa dropped their record down to 2-1 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Ottawa will be taking part in a tournament against Louisburg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Scott, they will venture away from home to face off against Pittsburg at 4:30 p.m. on the 10th.
