Soccer Game Preview: Cimarron-Memorial vs. Legacy

The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans will take on the Legacy Longhorns at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Cimarron-Memorial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season.

Cimarron-Memorial took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Mojave get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Cimarron-Memorial haven't had any issues with Mojave recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cimarron-Memorial hit Mojave with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexa Alvarenga (2), Lauren Raugust (2), Aydaana Nana Franco, and Rebecca Gonzalez.

Meanwhile, Legacy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Palo Verde, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Legacy haven't been shut out since back in September.

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Cimarron-Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 12-4-1.
