Football Recap: Lasalle Starts Season with Loss at Home

LaSalle couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Delta Charter Storm on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

Mason Lee threw for 65 yards and a touchdown. Tuff Street was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Jessey Stowe rushed for 31 yards.

LaSalle will face off against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. LaSalle is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Delta Charter, they will host Vidalia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
