Softball Recap: Maria Carrillo Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Maria Carrillo and San Leandro squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Maria Carrillo had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 11-10.

Rachaely Yaya made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kylie Crabb, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Maria Carrillo's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for San Leandro, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

As of now, neither Maria Carrillo nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
