Swallows Charter Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past the Custer County Bobcats 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since December 14, 2024.

Christian Garcia had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Elias Garcia was another key player, putting up nine points.

Coming up, Swallows Charter Academy will face off against Pueblo Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Custer County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lake City Community at 7:00 p.m. on the 13th.
