Softball Recap: Blake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mounds Park Academy on Monday, Blake came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Breck Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 8-1. The Bears have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Blake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greta Guider, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Blake now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Breck, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.

Coming up, Blake will take on St. Paul Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Breck, they will head out to face off against Mounds Park Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
