Basketball Recap: Bangor Comes Up Short

Bangor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the White Pigeon Chiefs, falling 76-49. The Vikings lost against the Chiefs in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 87-38 score last time.

Bangor's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for White Pigeon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bangor will face off against Marcellus at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for White Pigeon, they will welcome Sturgis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in White Pigeon's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Sturgis has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
