Soccer Game Preview: Trinity vs. Southlake Carroll

Trinity hasn't had much luck against Southlake Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trinity Trojans will be playing at home against the Southlake Carroll Dragons at 6:30 p.m.

Trinity managed to keep up with Keller Central until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Trinity came up short against Keller Central, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 365th, while the Chargers are ranked 56th).

Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bobcat a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won 11 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Southlake Carroll, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.
