Basketball Recap: Summit Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Summit Academy lost against Jeannette back in January of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights took a 79-61 bruising from the Jayhawks.

Jeannette got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Markus McGowan out in front who went 10-for-21 en route to 23 points. Another player making a difference was Kymone Brown, who shot 69% from the field on his way to 21 points and six assists.

Summit Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jeannette, their record is now 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Summit Academy will venture away from home to face off against St. Joseph at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jeannette, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
