Otsego is 9-1 against Paw Paw since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Otsego Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Paw Paw Red Wolves at 7:15 p.m. Otsego has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with eight straight defeats, while Paw Paw will come in with five straight wins.

Last Tuesday, Otsego lost to Lakeview on the road by a 69-51 margin. The Bulldogs were down 56-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Paw Paw sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over Portage Northern on Tuesday. Given the Red Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Huskies are ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Otsego's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Paw Paw, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Otsego beat Paw Paw 59-49 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Otsego since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
