Tri-Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Illinois Lutheran. The contest was a 24-24 toss-up at halftime, but Tri-Point couldn't quite close it out.

Michael DeBoer went supernova for Illinois Lutheran, going 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points along with five assists and three steals. DeBoer's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Jace Danzy was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Tri-Point's record now sits at 2-26. As for Illinois Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-17 record this season.
