Baseball Recap: Stony Point Takes a Loss

If Stony Point was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Dallas Jesuit last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stony Point Tigers fell just short of the Reagan Rattlers by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rattlers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Stony Point's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Reagan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3-1.

Stony Point wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Vandegrift on the 11th. As for Reagan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-0 victory against SA Roosevelt on the 11th.
