Softball Recap: St. Martin de Porres Lions vs. Euclid Panthers
After flying high against Cleveland Central Catholic back in March, St. Martin de Porres came back down to earth. The St. Martin de Porres Lions took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Euclid Panthers on Monday.
Zarriah Kind and Alisha Fluker did some serious damage despite the final result: Kind scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Fluker scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaniya Atterberry, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
St. Martin de Porres' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Euclid, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
St. Martin de Porres is on the road again on Wednesday to play Lawrence Upper at 5:00 p.m. As for Euclid, they will be playing at home against Cleveland Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
