Basketball Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. Central Lions
Harris County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Central Lions and fell 58-24. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 501st, while the Lions are ranked 79th).
Khaven Cochran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central, going 8 for 13 en route to 23 points and five boards. The matchup was Cochran's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Connor Williams was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to six rebounds and five blocks.
Harris County's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
