Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Gompers Prep Academy with a sharp 5-0 victory. It was an even better day for Tristan Tessier as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, on TuesdayMar Vista kept up with San Ysidro until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. San Ysidro blew past Mar Vista 5-0. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars who have now won three matchups in a row.

Chula Vista Learning Community Charter has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those six contests. As for San Ysidro, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.
