Soccer Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

Berry lost against Ardrey Kell back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals lost 10-1 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Berry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while Ardrey Kell are ranked 15th).

Berry has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Ardrey Kell, they pushed their record up to 12-3-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Berry will welcome Ballantyne Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ardrey Kell, they will head out to take on Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ardrey Kell's defense better be ready for this one: Myers Park have averaged an impressive 4 goals per game this season.
