Spring Grove entered their tilt with Schaeffer Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past Schaeffer Academy 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Spring Grove also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-10.

Hailey Normann paced Spring Grove's offense, picking up ten kills. Normann got some help from Claire Sherburne and her 23 assists. Sherburne was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Spring Grove's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Schaeffer Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spring Grove is set to square off against their familiar foe Lanesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Schaeffer Academy will take on rival Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
