Football Game Preview: Pensacola Tigers vs. Northview Chiefs

The Pensacola Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Northview Chiefs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Pensacola's offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Destin on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Sharks. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Sharks are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Northview can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They snuck past Escambia with a 6-0 win.

Pensacola's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northview, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Pensacola might still be hurting after the 39-18 loss they got from Northview in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Pensacola avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
