Softball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Comes Up Short on the Road Against Emerald Ridge

Kennedy Catholic kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 17-0 to the Emerald Ridge Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Kennedy Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Moe, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Kennedy Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against West Seattle on the 15th. As for Emerald Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 31-2 win against Federal Way on the 14th.
