Sheehan lost to Foran 41-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
North Haven led Southern Connecticut Division II - East in scoring this week by notching 54 points on East Haven. Michael Halloran threw for 84 yards and ran for 59 yards in the win.
The Lions' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jake Kasuba threw for 289 and 3 touchdowns and Sean Deegan had 109 yards receiving. On the ground Stephen Longley chipped in 94 yards. Nick Weissauer helped Foran's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 101 yards.
He went 16-26 with 0 interception.
Longley was the best running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 94 yards as Foran beat the Titans. Teammate Kasuba added to the ground attack by rushing for 74 yards.
Jeff Bevino's team's Kasuba and Weissauer have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kasuba has thrown for 950 yards this season, while Weissauer, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 22 catches for 347 yards. Michael Montano from the Indians leads the league in rushing with 253 yards.
The Lions made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,365 from 5,356. The advance stemmed from a 41-14 victory over Sheehan last week.
