University is a perfect 7-0 against Jefferson since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Cougars at 9:00 a.m. Jefferson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on University, who comes in off a win.

University's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Grafton with a sharp 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for University, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Grafton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Gizzi (3), Paisley Armentrout, and Sydney Blohm.

Meanwhile, Jefferson faced Hedgesville in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-0. Jefferson's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jefferson now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-4.

University skirted past Jefferson 2-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2021. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
