Grove City Christian barely beat Miller the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Saturday. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.
While Grove City Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.
Kinsey Hovance paced Grove City Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Hovance got some help from Lydia Lee and her 27 assists. Lee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
