Eoin Adams gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Tuesday. He wasn't messing around, pitching four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with five or more strikeouts.

Adams' strong effort led Discovery Canyon over Palmer Ridge and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
