Basketball Recap: Cross Creek's Loss Ends 11-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Cross Creek and Sandy Creek squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cross Creek had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Sandy Creek Patriots. If the Razorbacks were looking for revenge after losing 61-44 to them when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cross Creek's defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Sandy Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Cross Creek nor Sandy Creek have any future games scheduled.
