Basketball Recap: Gorham Fayette's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Gorham Fayette can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 37-30 win over the Morenci Bulldogs. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Gorham Fayette's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Morenci, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

The future could be bright for both Gorham Fayette and Morenci: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Gorham Fayette will try to hand Stryker their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Meanwhile, Morenci will look to extend Hudson's three-game losing streak when the meet at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th.
