Volleyball Game Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. El Camino Real Royals

Cleveland is 2-8 against El Camino Real since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Cavaliers will take on the Royals at 3:45 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Wednesday, Cleveland made easy work of Birmingham and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cleveland was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-8.

Granada Hills Charter typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday El Camino Real proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 26, 2023, but that streak is no more.

El Camino Real never let Granada Hills Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 19-14. As for El Camino Real, their victory bumped their record up to 20-12.
