Basketball Recap: Burlington City Piles Up the Points Against Maple Shade

While Burlington City didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Maple Shade Wildcats 68-35 on Friday. The Blue Devils' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Burlington City pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Maple Shade, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Burlington City will look to defend their home court on Thursday against STEMCivics at 5:15 p.m. Burlington City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully STEMCivics likes a good challenge. As for Maple Shade, they are taking a road trip to square off against Delran at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
