Basketball Game Preview: Sequim Wolves vs. North Kitsap Vikings

Sequim is 1-9 against North Kitsap since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sequim Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the North Kitsap Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Sequim will be strutting in after a win while North Kitsap will be coming in after a defeat.

Sequim will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Port Angeles, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Sequim came out on top against Port Angeles by a score of 58-49 on Friday. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Roughriders are ranked 181st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Kitsap didn't have quite enough to beat North Mason on Friday and fell 75-73. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Kitsap's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Sequim, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Everything came up roses for Sequim against North Kitsap in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 74-46 win. In that game, Sequim amassed a halftime lead of 43-18, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
