Volleyball Recap: Palm Desert Comes Up Short

Palm Desert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodcrest Christian Royals. If the Aztecs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Royals when the teams met back in August of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Palm Desert's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Woodcrest Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Palm Desert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Heritage on the 16th. As for Woodcrest Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Hemet on the 16th.
