Volleyball Game Preview: Panorama Pythons vs. Poly Parrots

The Panorama Pythons will take on the Poly Parrots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Panorama came up short against Kennedy and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Pythons in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

While Panorama ultimately came up short, they really made Kennedy work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 18-25, 29-27, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Poly, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Arleta with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The Parrots haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Poly never let Arleta on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-13.

Panorama's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Poly, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
