Baseball Recap: Terry Falls Short of George County in the Playoffs

Terry and George County squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Terry had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 8-2. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 14 in a row.

Terry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cory Meaders, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was Charlie Davis, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Terry's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for George County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

As of now, neither Terry nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
