After losing to Rustburg the last time they met, Brookville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bees claimed a resounding 42-7 win over the Red Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bees.

Lincoln McDaniel went supernova, throwing for 182 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 46 yards and one TD. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Brookville's leading receiver Blake Thomas was McDaniel's top target yet again, picking up 78 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Brookville's run defense was locked in: Rustburg could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. That's the most yards per carry they've managed all season.

Brookville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Rustburg, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
