Basketball Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

The Clearfield Falcons came up short against the Desert Hills Thunder on Friday and fell 64-55. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Desert Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyson Arthur, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 15 points and five boards. Jack Openshaw was another key player, going 7-for-10 on his way to 18 points.

Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Desert Hills, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Clearfield has already played their next game, a 64-54 loss against Mountain View on the 22nd. As for Desert Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-38 win against Spanish Fork on the 22nd.
