Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe lost against Big Foot back in October of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cheesemakers fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 2-1. The Cheesemakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Chloe Pearce was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and three assists. Leah Paulsen also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Big Foot, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-19.

Monroe has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Clinton on the 11th. As for Big Foot, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Racine Lutheran on the 11th.
