Volleyball Recap: West Park Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Park walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Bear Creek Bruins with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

West Park's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bear Creek to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-18.

Tristan Apurado paced West Park's offense, picking up 13 kills. Apurado got some help from Noah Moon and his 38 assists. Apurado was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

West Park's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-9. As for Bear Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.

West Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Rocklin on the 2nd. Bear Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
