Boonville came tearing into  Monday's  game with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Eldon Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  75-37. Given the Pirates' advantage  in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings  (they are ranked 114th, while the Mustangs are ranked 302nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Corin Davis, who  posted eight  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karlie Wood, who  had seven points.
Boonville's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 64.2 points over those games. As for Eldon,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-14.
 Boonville has  already played their next  match (against California), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Eldon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  37-28  victory against Blair Oaks on the 13th.
