Cortland won the last time they faced Solvay and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cortland Purple Tigers put the hurt on the Solvay Bearcats with a sharp 55-35 victory. The Purple Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Cortland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Iniko Abani, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points. Abani is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Owen Johnson, who posted eight points.

The win made it two in a row for Cortland and bumps their season record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points over those games. As for Solvay, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
