Countryside Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the St. John Lutheran Saints. For the Minutemen, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 win the Saints walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Clay Dees spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Jace Reustle was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Hunter Burgess was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
