Baseball Game Preview: DASH United vs. Bethel Christian Academy Trojans

The DASH United are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

DASH is leaving town to face Bethel Christian Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The United lost 10-1 to New Life Camp back in March.

Meanwhile, Bethel Christian Academy got the win against Scotland Christian Academy on Monday by a conclusive 19-1. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jamey Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Bethel Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Jonathan White and Levi Gates did most of the damage at the plate: White scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Gates scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Gates has posted since back in March of 2024. Jason Turnage was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Bethel Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
