Basketball Recap: North Star Academy Takes a Loss

North Star Academy was the 48-46 winner over Bloomfield when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. North Star Academy fell 70-59 to the Bloomfield Bengals on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (58), North Star Academy still had to take the loss.

North Star Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bloomfield, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

North Star Academy will take on Belleville in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bloomfield and Pope John XXIII will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
