It was a good run, but Ardsley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Somers Tuskers by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Tuskers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Ardsley took Somers into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 12-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 15-25, 25-18, 15-3.

Ardsley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Somers, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1.

Ardsley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Edgemont on the 10th. As for Somers, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Eastchester on the 9th.
