Volleyball Recap: Williams Field Takes Down Ranked Perry

Williams Field faced Perry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Black Hawks had just enough and edged out the Pumas 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Black Hawks have posted since March 28th.

Luke Raymond paced Williams Field's offense, picking up seven kills. Raymond really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 13. Dallas Williams and Tragdon Jenkins kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Williams Field has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Perry, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 26-4 record.

Williams Field wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Shadow Ridge on the 18th. As for Perry, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against ALA - Queen Creek on the 18th.
