Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont). They claimed a resounding 65-35 win over the Central Academy Cougars. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 30 points or more this season.

Leading Piedmont to victory were Ashyln Pressley and Emily Lundquist. Pressley posted nine points and eight rebounds, while Lundquist put up 12 points. That's the most points Pressley has posted since back in December of 2024. Charleigh Battle was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Piedmont's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Central Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Piedmont has already played their next contest, a 56-33 win against Anson on the 6th. As for Central Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-23 loss against Forest Hills on the 7th.
